The Singaporean government assigns any entity doing business there with a 9- or 10-digit number called the Unique Entity Number (UEN), which serves as a unique identifier.
It is a number that is used to uniquely identify each registered organization so that they may conveniently interact with different governmental entities, from filing corporate tax returns to asking for import and export licenses, under a single identification number.
The format is frequently made up of a string of nine or 10 characters that includes the following:
Alphanumeric (a combination of numbers and letters)
The granting body
Entity kind
The calendar year when the UEN was released
The UEN number for your business will look something like this, depending on the year of registration.
